During COVID we showcased our end of unit work, most of which was student choreography, through short videos. In the above playlist are also two school wide videos created to celebrate the winter holidays and Black History Month. All of the videos I edited using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or iMove.

Be-YOU-tiful Book Club

Ms. Swan worked with the school librarian, Ms. McFarlane, to facilitate bi-weekly book club meetings. We focused on discussing and responding to books centered around gender identity and diverse family structures. We hosted an author's visit with Kyle Lukoff and a Drag Queen Story hour event. We also  purchased books for each classroom centered around diverse identities. These projects were supported by Identity Grant funding we applied for and received through the NYCDOE.

Superhero Dancers! is a co-designed unit I collaborated on with dance educator, Gabriella Kahan. Our unit was published in the 2021 NYCDOE Dance Unit Booklet.
